The PERF FLOW® Systems from Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids are non-damaging reservoir drill-in fluids (DIF). These systems are carefully formulated to function as a drilling and completion fluid under a range of wellbore conditions to maximize production. The three systems currently marketed include (1) PERFFLOW CM, (2) PERFFLOW DIF and (3) PERFFLOW 100. Each of these reservoir entry fluids can be engineered using monovalent and/or divalent brine and with a specialized blend of non-damaging polymers. MIL-CARB®, FLOW-CARBTM or other approved calcium carbonate bridging particles may be utilized to form a thin, pliable and easily removed filter cake. The thin PERFFLOW filter cake offers natural clean-up options, including acid and enzyme remediation if desired. PERFFLOW CM is a custom-mix system designed to match specific downhole conditions. PERFFLOW DIF and PERFFLOW 100 Systems are pre-engineered fluids for operators who have limited reservoir information. All of the PERFFLOW Systems can be formulated with densities ranging from 1.09 - 2.1 SG (9.1 - 17.8 lb/gal) and are designed to maintain excellent rheological properties with bottom hole temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). Operators across the globe have enjoyed the success of Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids' PERFFLOW Systems. More than 800 case histories have demonstrated that these systems of reservoir drill-in fluids minimize skin damage, a phenomenon that can permanently impact hydrocarbon production. |
