Downhole Pumps
Centrilift supplies high
efficiency environmentally friendly equipment for municipalities, high horsepower slimline motors for mining,
and high temperature motors with specialized pumps for the geothermal market. A high-pressure
horizontal pump has been designed to
reduce downtime and repair costs for the industrial market.
Centrilift is a leading
developer of technology for electrical
submersible pumping (ESP) systems, variable speed drives and ESP cabling systems. Centrilift products include a full line of armored cable
for hostile gas and temperature environments
up to 400° F (205° C).
Products include:
-
Electrical submersible pumps, seals and motors
-
Electrospeed® variable speed control systems
-
ESP monitoring, control and shut-down
systems
-
Vortex motor controller and information
display units
-
Armored power cables and accessories for
ESP applications

The 562 motor
powering Centrilift pumps features epoxy insulation and encapsulation of
internal components for high horsepower ratings and longer service life at high temperatures. Encapsulation of internal windings improves thermal conductivity
for better heat dissipation, obtaining reliable operation in temperatures to 300°F (149°C).
Geothermal Power Plants
Steamboat II and III (just south of Reno, NV) comprise one of the
largest binary geothermal power plants in the world. In just one year of
operation:
-
Production of geothermal fluids at the facility has jumped 20
percent in each of the wells employing Centrilift’s electrical submersible
pumps (ESPs)
-
Lessened the ecological impact of the operation to the surrounding
area
-
Offer better productivity and have a much lower impact on the
environment
-
Provide approximately 10 percent of Reno’s electricity, producing
2,500 gallons per minute of 320°F geothermal fluid
