Baker Hughes Integrated Operations (BHIO) combines well design and engineering, management and production services into a single package, complete with financial, project management, logistics and supply chain expertise.

With operations and management teams located in Mexico, Dubai, Aberdeen, Australia and Houston, BHIO has a global footprint and maximizes the global capabilities of Baker Hughes and its product lines. In addition, BHIO has strong working relationships with subcontractors and vendors worldwide and maintains multilingual staff to ensure optimal communications and engagement.

BHIO ensures high standards of operational, technical and commercial performance through the provision of skilled project management personnel and support functions. This assures that Baker Hughes  product lines and services, as well as those of subcontractors and vendors, are brought together into an integrated, best practice package upon which the client can rely.

BHIO skills and toolsets include wellsite, production and reservoir operations; risk management techniques and analysis; project management; well engineering software and design tools; commercial and contractual awareness and oilfield best practices.

Delivery of Services Across the Entire Well Life Cycle

From reservoir analysis and field development studies to in field rig and well services management, BHIO delivers services across the entire well life cycle from new field to redevelopment. Offerings include directional drilling, fluids, well construction, intervention and logging, completions, production chemistry, well monitoring and pumping technology. Ultimately, BHIO seeks to improve return on investment and reduce life cycle and ownership costs for the client, while enhancing production and reservoir optimization.

In addition to the service expertise of the Baker Hughes divisions, BHIO utilizes specific teams and specialists from across the Baker Hughes community, such as the OASIS drilling optimization group. BHIO also works closely with Gaffney, Cline & Associates, Geomechanics International, Inc., and RDS,  world leading reservoir consulting firms that comprise the Baker Hughes Reservoir Technology and Consulting (RTC) Group. At the same time BHIO has long-standing relationships with subcontractors who provide non-core BHI activities, such as tubular handling, cementing, well testing, civil engineering, hydrogen sulphide control and rig management.

Experience Base

The BHIO experience base encompasses offshore, High Pressure, High Temperature wells in Mexico, gas storage projects in Europe, exploration and development activities in Northern and Western Africa, innovative resource utilization in Norway and well management in Kazakhstan and Russia. Other countries in which the group has previously operated include Turkey, Colombia and Venezuela.
