Community Affairs

The Baker Hughes Community Impact Team (CIT) will identify charitable organization(s) and support and/or coordinate events in the greater Houston area meeting the following objectives while incorporating Baker Hughes’ Core Values:

  • Allow for maximum employee volunteer opportunities
  • Provide a strong community presence for BHI

The Community Impact Team was chartered in November of 2000 and is represented by at least one employee from each Houston based division. We encourage employees to support divisional and local charitable volunteer opportunities.

The Baker Hughes Community Impact Team (CIT) will be organizing the following volunteer opportunities during 2008: H-E-B Houston Children’s Festival benefiting Child Advocates, Inc., BP MS 150 Bike Ride from Houston to Austin benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, March of Dimes March for Babies, Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the Baker Hughes Holiday Gift Drive benefiting Toys for Tots and Sheltering Arms.
