Geomarket Service Organization

Baker Hughes operates in over 90 countries serving independent, international and national oil companies. Our service network is organized into nine regions comprised of 26 geomarkets, which deliver the full range of Baker Hughes products and services. Region and geomarket teams work to understand local customer needs and coordinate delivery of individual products and comprehensive service solutions that include the right Baker Hughes technologies for the project.

Product Lines Develop Technology

Baker Hughes’ global operations are backed by six product line groups which develop, manufacture and support their industry-leading technologies.

• The Drilling & Evaluation Product Line provides INTEQ directional drilling and formation evaluation technologies and Baker Atlas wireline capabilities.
• The Hughes Christensen Product Line provides industry-leading Tricone™ and PDC drill bits, hole enlargement and casing while drilling technology.
• The Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids Product Line provides fluids systems and services that help optimize the drilling and completion processes, maximize hydrocarbon production and manage drilling waste.
• The Baker Oil Tools Product Line includes completion, intelligent production and intervention solutions that help manage cost and reduce risk while maximizing recovery.
• The Centrilift Product Line provides artificial lift systems, including electric submersible pumps (ESP) and progressive cavity pump systems, as well as specific engineering, project management and well monitoring services.
• The Baker Petrolite Product Line provides chemical technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing, and also delivers pipeline integrity services.

Reservoir Technology and Consulting

Baker Hughes formed the Reservoir Technology and Consulting Group to enhance the company's capabilities in reservoir engineering, geomechanics and energy consulting services. The group currently includes Gaffney, Cline & Associates and Geomechanics International, Inc., and RDS, which continue to operate as stand-alone consulting firms.

Baker Hughes experts apply global knowledge to local problems, helping customers to lower risk and reduce cost. Our full range of technologies and expertise help clients improve processes such as reservoir characterization, drilling, completion and mature field optimization.
