2008 Hart’s E&P Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation

Baker Oil Tools received the Hart’s E&P Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation for the EmuSOLV™ well restoration treatment fluid in the IOR/EOR (improved/enhanced oil recovery) category at the 2008 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), held in Houston May 5-9. The award is given for the world’s best new tools and techniques for finding, drilling, and producing oil and gas wells. Entries are judged on innovation of concept or design; ability to solve an actual oilfield problem; and potential for improving profitability, safety or efficiency.

Baker Oil Tools brought home the prestigious OTC Spotlight on New Technology award for the Diamond FRAQ™ polymer-free high-performance fracturing fluid at the 2007 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), held in Houston April 30-May 3. To be selected for the OTC Spotlight on New Technology award, a product must be new and innovative, a proven technology, of broad interest and appeal and capable of having significant impact.
