Baker Oil Tools Thru-Tubing Intervention Inflatable Systems

Inflatable Systems

Baker Oil Tools pioneered the oil and gas industry’s first thru-tubing inflatable tools in 1985. These tools were designed to offer the highest available expansion characteristics with the greatest available differential pressure rating. These thru-tubing tools are designed to be run on coiled tubing, snubbing pipe, and electric wireline, allowing for the inherent advantages of working over a well in a live well condition, without removing the completion equipment.

  • Electric Wireline Setting Tool - The Electric Wireline Setting Tool (EWST) uses fluid from either the wellbore or a reservoir carrying system to inflate and pressurize inflatable packing elements. It allows for the setting of inflatable tools without the cost of a workover rig or coiled tubing unit.

  • Permanent Bridge Plug - The Permanent Bridge Plug (PBP) is a non-retrievable, inflatable type, bridge plug used to permanently plug the casing below the production tubing.

  • Positive Fluid Separation Reservoir System - The Positive Fluid Separation Reservoir System downhole pump is powered through conventional electric line. It uses wellbore fluids to inflate, hydraulically pressurize and disconnect from inflatable tools.

  • Retrievable Bridge Plug - The Retrievable Bridge Plug (RBP) temporarily plugs casing below the production tubing. Applications include temporary shutoff of lower zone, selective acid or chemical treatments, fracturing of upper perforation intervals and isolation of sensitive zones during re-completions or zonal isolations.

  • Retrievable Packer - The Retrievable Packer is a remedial and stimulation packer run on coiled tubing. The Packer perform selective chemical and acid treatments, cement squeezes or testing operations without pulling the production tubing and killing the well.
