A client needed to cut a nickel/chrome tubing string in a deepwater Gulf of Mexico well. Baker Atlas modeled the well and borehole conditions and simulated the chemical cutter performance in our laboratory before traveling to the rig, significantly reducing lost production and rig time caused by unsuccessful cutting attempts.
