Guardian System

Baker Atlas has introduced an advanced firing system that enables perforating services to be run without having to shut down normal operations.  The Guardian system protects against accidental firing of perforating guns caused by a wide range of stray voltage sources such as radio frequency (RF) systems, welding equipment, and lightning.  By incorporating a specially designed downhole firing circuit and exploding bridgewire (EBW) detonator in the perforating system, the Guardian system has raised perforating operations to a new level of safety assurance.
