A proficient wellbore clean-up is required since the removal of mud and solids is essential to the successful completion of the well. The Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids MICRO-PRIMESM spacer system is revolutionary technology designed to optimize the wellbore clean-up process when displacing drilling fluids prior to the completion process. This innovative design utilizes advanced Mesophase technology that will clean and water-wet all surfaces, even at high levels of oil- or synthetic-based mud contamination.

The MICRO-PRIME spacer technology is designed to maximize cleaning effectiveness and minimize waste generation. The lead push spacer is dual function, piloting the displacement and providing improved cleaning and wetting capacity. The tail spacer completes the process, cleaning and water-wetting the metal. The MICRO-PRIME spacer technology allows operators to maximize wellbore cleaning efficiency while reducing risks associated with challenging completion operations.

PRIME 743TM is a proprietary surfactant blend custom designed to formulate the MICRO-PRIMESM push spacer to clean synthetic- or oil-base mud residue from casing and risers and water-wet their surfaces.

PRIME 759TM is blended into a freshwater and seawater, non-dispersed weighted and viscosified slurry to serve as a push pill while displacing invert emulsion fluid systems from a cased wellbores.

PRIME 760TM is blended into a fresh water or seawater, non-dispersed weighed and viscosified slurry to serve as a push pill while displacing invert emulsion fluid systems from a cased wellbores.
