Safety Valves

Baker Oil Tools is a leader in providing Surface Controlled Subsurface Safety Valves (SCSSV) for deepwater applications. Set below the mudline, these valves are controlled from the surface and shut in the well’s flow in the event of wellhead failure. SCSSVs are available in heavy sprung and nitrogen-charged versions, designed to match the opening pressure requirements for each application. Baker Oil Tools T-Series and Neptune SCSSV lines have been widely applied in deepwater wells in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and Brazil.
