Characterization Instrument (RCISM)
The Reservoir Characterization Instrument (RCI) from Baker Atlas reduces the need for expensive Drill Stem Testing
(DST) on deepwater wells. RCI enables operators to take up to 24
quality samples of reservoir fluid at selected well depths during a
single wireline run into the
hole. RCI has saved up to $4.5 million per well in DST costs and
rig time.
