Hydrate Inhibition

HI-M-PACT™ Low Dose Hydrate Inhibitors (LDHI) provide hydrate control solutions for even the most severe oil and gas production conditions, increasing operating efficiency and reducing capital and operating expenses.

Baker Petrolite offers both kinetic hydrate inhibitors (KHI) and anti-agglomerant (AA) low dose technologies and supporting modeling, design and technical services.

Our inhibitors have low viscosities and pour points, good compatibilities with metals and elastomers in the system, proven stability under high and low temperature conditions, resistance to shear degradation and are suitable for subsea and capillary injection.

Combination LDHI Treatment Products

Baker Petrolite can custom design combination products to perform multiple functions for a given location. The HI-M-PACT Inhibitor line currently includes multifunctional products which also address paraffin and corrosion inhibition. This allows the application of fully compatible products to address problems while lowering capital costs associated with umbilicals or optimizing available chemical injection lines in existing infrastructure.
