Weed Specificity
Although MAGNACIDE™ H Herbicide appears to be toxic to all submersed weeds and algae, no special studies have been conducted to determine the relative susceptibility of the various species.However, among submerged aquatic weeds, forms such as Potamogeton crispus are more easily controlled than the forms which also have floating leaves such as P. nodosus and P. illinoiensis. The latter types are best controlled when immature.
