Targeted Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) Inspections

The V-LINE™ tethered inspection services perform targeted MFL inspections on pipelines previously considered unpiggable. It detects and quantifies internal and external anomalies in lines from 2 inches to 32 inches. The tools can gather data for as much as 6 miles of pipe from a single access point. V-LINE tools gather data in real time, allowing for same day repairs.

V-LINE tools are, by design, a bi-directional assembly. This capability is atypical of uni-directional in-line inspection tools. As V-LINE tools are bi-directional, the inspection can be accomplished through a single access point in the pipeline.
