Alcohol Ethoxylates - UNITHOX® Ethoxylates
By reacting ethylene oxide with UNILIN® Alcohols Baker Hughes produces the UNITHOX® Ethoxylate series of high molecular weight, high melting point, non-ionic surfactants.
UNITHOX Ethoxylate can be customized to yield surface-active agents suited to a wide range of applications. Because of the presence of a starting long polyethylene tail, UNITHOX Ethoxylates from Baker Hughes can withstand higher temperatures than conventional fatty ethoxylates.
UNITHOX can be blended with other non-ionic, cationic, or anionic emulsifiers for a truly customized approach. The melt points of UNITHOX Ethoxylated Alcohols the range from 70°C to 106°C.
