FLO ADR 4400

Product Description
FLO ADR
4400 is an extremely high molecular weight, anionic emulsion polymer of acrylamide. It has been developed specifically to reduce hydraulic friction and increase the throughput of pipelines which transport water as the continuous phase. It is effective in soft water and high TDS brines, and has excellent tolerance for divalent ions.

Features and Benefits
  • Maximizes Pipelines Capacity by minimizing hydraulic friction

  • Enhances Safety by maintaining throughput at lower pressure

  • Minimizes Capital Expenditure by eliminating the need for extra pumps and loops in the pipeline.

  • Environmentally Friendly by formulation to minimize toxicity and the tendency to bioaccumulate

Handling and Storage

It is recommended to store FLO ADR 4400 at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Storage above 30°C marginally reduces the shelf life. Because it is a self-inverting emulsion, extreme care should be taken to keep storage vessels, feed lines, and pumps free from any water (condensation, rain, etc.). Storage in glass, stainless steel, or plastic/epoxy-lined vessels is recommended. Do not use aluminum, iron, or copper in the feed or storage system. If freezing occurs, product may be used after being slowly thawed and thoroughly mixed. Soak up spills with inert absorbent material. If the spilled quantity is large clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum and store is suitable, closed container for disposal.

Shipping and Handling

FLO ADR 4400 is shipped in bulk, 1000 liter containers, and 200 liter non-returnable drums under a "protect from freezing" classification. It is unregulated by the DOT and is not considered a hazardous waste under RCRA.
