Centrilift is the only ESP manufacturer to design and build a full range of electrical control products specifically for ESP applications. The Graphic Control System (GCS) family of products, including the GCS Electrospeed^® 3 variable speed drive, GCS Centinel™ down-hole monitor and GCS Vortex™ motor controller, represents over 25 years of industry specific design, manufacture and application experience. The GCS product line is designed for seamless interface between each of the family components.

The GCS system features the latest microprocessor technology, facilitating ease of set-up and operation, performance diagnostics and real-time communication. The technology reduces the number of circuit boards, which enhances product reliability and increases operational versatility. The GCS display unit is common to all the products in the GCS family, providing the operator with a familiar operating interface.

It communicates with SCADA or telemetry systems using the included ModBus RTU protocol and built-in RS-232 hardware interface. It also features CITIBus^®, a high-speed telemetry interface. Input/Output expansion modules provide a single point of control and monitoring for a wide range of sensor types, and RS-485 serial capability.

GCS Electrospeed Variable Speed Drive (VSD)- The GCS Electrospeed variable speed drive (VSD) offers 6-pulse or 12-pulse converters as standard options. For improved input power harmonics, drives with converter topologies are available that can meet IEEE-519-1992 recommended practice. The GCS Electrospeed is the only VSD in the industry to offer a choice of FPWM™ or six-step output waveforms. With the FPWM mode, the VSD protects the motor by switching to six-step mode or shutting down the ESP unit in the event of a filter failure. The Electrospeed VSD is programmable for variable torque, constant torque and constant voltage with extended speed range.

GCS Vortex Motor Controller- The GCS Vortex motor controller is a stand-alone motor protection relay and programmable controller that uses the latest microprocessor and display technology. As a member of the GCS family of control products, the GCS Vortex also features CITIBus, a high speed telemetry interface port that simplifies control system expansion and customization. The GCS can be used to retrofit existing switchboards.
