System Overview - ROD DRIVEN PROGRESSING CAVITY PUMPS

RDPCP System Overcomes Abrasives in CBM Well
RDPCP achieves 83% volumetric efficiency, aids natural gas desorption process in CBM well

Description

Centrilift Rod Driven Progressing Cavity Pumps (RDPCP) are complete surface and downhole systems featuring LIFTEQ® pumps. Both RDPCP® and electric submersible progressing cavity pump (ESPCP) systems offer operators a choice of application specific designs that deliver the ultimate PCP value.

The PCP is a positive displacement pump with progressing sealed cavities which provide a non-pulsating flow that reduces the risk of emulsifying fluids and avoids gas locking. The combination of the progressing cavity design coupled with high grade materials of construction make the pump ideally suited for producing viscous and/or abrasive fluids. LIFTEQ rotors and stators are designed for use with both topdrive and bottom drive systems.

A major attribute of the PCP is the ability to efficiently produce viscous and solid-laden fluids. RDPCP systems are capable of functioning in a variety of difficult well environments including: high viscosity, sand, gas, high emulsion and extreme temperatures.

Coalbed Methane
PCP systems have gained wide acceptance in CBM de-watering operations due to their ability to handle abrasives and sustain production efficiencies with low pump intake pressures. Along with the CBM ESP systems, Centrilift LIFTEQ rod driven progressing cavity pump systems provide CBM operators a range of superior options for any CBM well conditions.

LIFTEQ systems provide a wide range of equipment options for CBM de-watering with standard pump lift ratings of up to 2300 psi and production rates to over 3,000 bfpd.
