Description
Centrilift is the worldwide leader in dual/redundant subsea in-well electrical submersible pumping (ESP) systems. With offshore and subsea installations in the North Sea, West Africa, Australia, Brazil and the Gulf of Mexico, Centrilift is providing subsea technology to enable longer stepouts and higher flow rates and boost pressures.
In-well configurations place the ESP system close to the reservoir, which maximizes overall reserve recovery. Centrilift in-well solutions are designed with dual/redundant ESP systems, providing several benefits. Redundant systems maximize run life and allow operators to proactively schedule intervention to minimize down time and deferred production. Dual systems can be operated as redundant systems or concurrently where high pressure differentiators are required.
Using specifically developed technologies such as hydraulically actuated subsea switches; dual penetration trees; dual penetration packers and auto flow control valves, dual/redundant ESP systems can be switched over from one system to the other with no intervention.
Dual/redundant ESP systems can be deployed using by-pass systems for access to the reservoir below the ESP or using encapsulated ESP systems for high pressure environments. Flow rates up to 35,000 BPD (5,565 ms/day) at boost pressures of over 5,000 psi (345 bar) can be achieved with dual/redundant systems within standard 9-5/8" casing. Larger flow rates are achievable for larger casing sizes.
