Our drilling technology laboratory has an industry-exclusive high-pressure downhole simulator in which we examine bit behavior under strict controls. Complementing the simulator is our full-scale atmospheric pressure test equipment for conducting wear studies and dynamic analysis of bit designs.

Also, the Baker Hughes Experimental Test Area (BETA) near Tulsa, Oklahoma, delivers field-proven products and services in shorter cycle time without an operator assuming the risk of using unqualified technology. BETA is a unique resource for testing a variety of drilling, completion, and production tools.
