| TesTrak® LWD Formation Pressure Testing
INTEQ's TesTrak® device provides real-time formation pressure and mobility data - delivering critical Answers While Drilling for improved wellsite safety, enhanced drilling efficiency, increased knowledge of the reservoir, and optimized decision-making when it really matters.
Real-time decisions - reduced uncertainty Using TesTrak formation pressure data helps to optimize mud programs, avoid kicks, increase penetration rates and improve casing point selection.
Pressure and mobility data allow targeting of the most productive reservoir zones and determination of the optimal drain length for horizontal wells. In faulted (compartmentalized) reservoirs, accurate pressure analysis enhances effective geosteering between compartments.
Improved formation evaluation Analyzing pressure profiles from wells in developed reservoir helps to understand the reservoir's fluid movement and to monitor depletion levels. In virgin reservoirs, static reservoir models can be developed by combining the TesTrak services with other LWD data.
The accuracy of TesTrak real-time formation pressure data allows defining pressure gradients and contact points to model the reservoir pressure for optimizing recovery and better understanding of production.
SmartPadTM / SmarTestTM INTEQ has incorporated closed-loop intelligence into the TesTrak service. This allows the device to monitor and adjust to formation conditions ensuring accurate measurements without time consuming interactions from the surface. The combination of SmartPad - closed loop pad pressure control, and SmarTest - optimized pressure testing provides valid formation pressure and mobility measurements in the shortest time possible, with an unmatched sealing efficiency of 95%.
